FAQ AND GENERAL INFORMATION

Packet pickup is between 7:30 am and 8:30 am Ssaturday, May 22, 2010 for the Pine Barrens Sprint Distance Triathlon.

Packet pickup is between 7:30 am and 8:30 am Ssaturday, September 11, 2010 for the Pine Barrens Olympic Distance Triathlon. 

All participants must sign a 2nd waiver for the State of New Jeresey. This waver is in addition to the waver you agreed upon when you registered. ..

All participants must get body markings on arms and thighs.

The water temperature for the May 22, 2010 Pine Barrens Sprint Distance Triathlon should be about 65 +/- degrees. Wetsuits are suggested.

The water temperature for the September 11, 2010 Pine Barrens Olympic Distance Triathlon should be above 70 degrees unless we get a cold wave. Wetsuits are optional. 

REMEMBER, THERE IS NO DRAFTINFG ALLOWED DURING THE BIKE RIDE.

The run in the woods consists of various surfaces, including asphalt, gravel, fine stone, pine needles and the dreaded sand.

DUE TO THE LACK OF PARTICIPATION OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS IT HAS BECOME NECESSARY TO CANCEL THE DUATHLON EVENTS!!

. ALL athletes are required to show photo ID. NO ID, NO RACE, NO EXCEPTIONS.  Every single participant in your race must have a photo ID, this includes all relay participants. Youth athletes without an ID must be accompanied by a parent/guardian with a photo ID.  Annual members are required to bring their membership card every time they compete in a USAT sanctioned event. If their card has been lost, they can download and print out a temporary one at https://www.usatmembership.com/default.aspx.
